UKT-40 Single Full Height Turnstile

The UKT-40 full height turnstile is a high-security access control solution designed for perimeter protection and controlled pedestrian entry. Commonly used at industrial sites, construction entrances, and secure facilities, it provides reliable single-person access while preventing unauthorised entry. Built for durability and consistent performance, the UKT-40 is ideal for environments where security, safety, and controlled access are critical.

Our units come with a 120° three rota position configuration (4 rota 90° also available). This wider design allows users to enter carrying small items like backpacks while still providing a high level of secure access.

Optional canopy heads can be fitted directly above the walkways, alongside optional access control reader mounting plates to cater for all types of third-party systems.

You can use the turnstile mechanically or powered, making this product suitable for a wide range of environments. In the event of a fire alarm the units can be configured to freely rotate.

Multiple finishes available, including powder coated only (for internal use), galvanized only, galvanized & powder coated, stainless steel 304 & stainless steel 316.

An LED display has been fitted into the lid directly above the walkway to show passage authorization. An active passage width of 585mm makes this product suitable for a wide range of environments where single or multiple lane access is required.

In the event of a fire alarm both mechanical & motorised units can be configured to free rotate.

The UKT-40 single full height turnstile is the slimline option in our full height range, so it is a good fit where the entrance is narrow, or where a turnstile has to sit tight against a fence line or a gatehouse wall. Despite the smaller footprint, a UKT-40 single full height turnstile still blocks the whole height of the opening, so it cannot be climbed over or crawled under when the site is unmanned.

Passage can be set to one direction only, or left bi-directional, and the LED indicator above the walkway tells the user when the rotor has been released. The push-button control panel supplied with the unit allows a gatehouse operator to release, free-wheel or lock off the lane, and in a fire alarm condition both mechanical and motorised versions can be configured to free rotate so the lane forms part of the escape route.

A UKT-40 single full height turnstile is compatible with all common credentials — proximity cards and fobs, keypads, biometric readers and mobile credentials — and can be tied into your access control system and time and attendance software so that entry and exit are recorded automatically.

Guidance on choosing physical entrance control for higher-risk and critical sites is published by the National Protective Security Authority, and full height units of this type are a common recommendation for unmanned perimeters.

On site, the UKT-40 single full height turnstile is bolted to a prepared concrete base with power and control cabling run to the head unit. It is often installed as part of a wider line-up with security fencing and an accessible swing gate alongside for wheelchair users, deliveries and equipment.
