UKT-32 Twin Full Height Turnstile

The UKT-32 is a twin full height powder coated steel turnstile that can be supplied either with mechanical (non-powered assisted) or motorised operation. All our range come with three rota position – 120° size only. This wider design allows users to enter carrying small items like pack packs while still providing secure access.

LED displays have been fitted into the lid directly above the walkways to show passage authorization. An active passage width of 585mm makes this product suitable for a wide range of environments where single or multiple lane access is required.

The UKT-32 twin full height turnstile gives you two controlled lanes from one frame and one roof, which is why it is normally chosen for gatehouses and staff entrances where a single lane would create a queue at shift change. Because the two rotors sit under a shared canopy, a UKT-32 twin full height turnstile also takes up less ground area, and costs less to install, than two separate single units placed side by side.

Each lane can be set to run in one direction only, so one side is in and one side is out, or both lanes can be left bi-directional and switched over as the flow changes through the day. The push-button control panel supplied with the unit lets a gatehouse operator release either lane manually, free-wheel it, or lock it off.

A UKT-32 twin full height turnstile works with the same credentials as the rest of your site: proximity cards and fobs, keypads, biometric readers, mobile credentials or ANPR at a shared vehicle and pedestrian gate. It can also be linked to time and attendance software so hours are recorded from the moment someone passes through, and to your access control system for reporting and evacuation lists.

Full height units are commonly specified where a site has to be secure when nobody is on duty, because the rotor fills the whole opening and cannot be climbed over or crawled under. Installation of a UKT-32 twin full height turnstile is straightforward: the unit is bolted down to a prepared concrete base and power and control cabling is run to the head. It is often installed as part of a line that includes security fencing and an accessible swing gate for wheelchair users and deliveries.
