UKT-60 Pedestrian Gate

Where a lane also needs to take wheelchair users, deliveries, trolleys or bicycles, a turnstile on its own is rarely enough. The UKT-60 pedestrian gate is designed to sit beside a turnstile line and carry that traffic, giving a step-free route through the same secured boundary. Operation is controlled by the maglock, released on presentation of a valid credential, so the UKT-60 pedestrian gate can be tied into the same access control system as the rest of the site. Readers for proximity cards, fobs, QR codes and biometrics can all be used, and a request-to-exit button, push pad or intercom can be specified for the unsecured side.

Safety is built in. On loss of power, or on a signal from the fire alarm, the maglock drops out and the leaf can be pushed open by hand, so the UKT-60 pedestrian gate never becomes an obstruction on an escape route. The door closer then returns the leaf to the frame so the boundary is not left standing open.

On finishes, powder coated black is supplied as standard, any RAL colour can be matched to order, and galvanised or stainless steel is available where corrosion resistance matters, such as coastal and heavy industrial sites. Infill panels or mesh can be matched to the adjoining fence line so the appearance stays consistent along the boundary.
