The venue caters to members and guests across multiple areas including the gym, health club, and ski slopes, making an efficient and professional entrance control system vital for both security and operational flow.
What Challenge Did Manor of Groves Face?
Prior to our involvement, there was no controlled entrance across the site. Guests and members could freely access the gym, health club, and ski slopes without any monitoring, creating both security and operational challenges. Existing turnstiles from the early 2000s were broken, out of use, and posed a risk of damage to the site’s flooring if replaced improperly. The client required a seamless system that complemented the high-end environment while integrating with the existing member software and access control system.
What Were UK Turnstiles’ Goals for This Project?
Our objective was to provide a secure, reliable automatic swing gate and tripod turnstile access control system that could manage entry across multiple areas of the site. The installation needed to:
- Replace the old, broken turnstiles safely and responsibly
- Use bespoke floorplates to avoid drilling or damage to existing flooring
- Integrate with the existing member software and access control
- Deliver a polished, professional finish suitable for a premium environment
By combining a tripod turnstile gate, and a UKT-115 fully automatic swing gate, our team ensured seamless access for all members while maintaining full site security.
Project Breakdown
We installed:
- 2 UKT-10 fully automatic tripod turnstiles
- 1 UKT-115 fully automatic swing gate turnstile
- Stainless steel posts and clear infill system
- Bespoke floorplate to protect existing flooring
- Manual control console at reception for staff oversight
This setup created a secure, accessible, and visually consistent entrance control system, with swinging access gates and automatic swing gate systems that blend into the high-end environment of Manor of Groves. All areas including the main corridor, gym entrance, and ski slopes are now monitored without the need for manual supervision.
Timeline
The project was completed between Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st November 2024, with careful planning to ensure minimal disruption to members and guests.
