ANPR Camera Installation & Barrier Control: Langstone Park Business Centre
Who Are Langstone Park?
We worked with Langstone Park Business Centre to deliver a secure and efficient ANPR camera and barrier solution for the site. Langstone Park caters to multiple businesses and required a professional system that could manage vehicle access while allowing tenants to control their own users independently.
What Challenge Did Langstone Park Face?
Before our involvement, the site was being used as a “rat run” by local traffic, creating congestion and safety concerns. The solution needed to be multi-tenanted, allowing authorised tenants, guests, and deliveries to access the site quickly while preventing unauthorised vehicles from entering. Installing an ANPR barrier control system in this environment also required careful planning, particularly when running cabling from the comms centre to the barrier locations.
What Were UK Turnstiles’ Goals for This Project?
Our goal was to deliver a robust ANPR system with integrated ANPR car park barriers. The system needed to provide fast, automated access for authorised users, allow tenants to manage users via a cloud-based interface, and integrate seamlessly into the existing site infrastructure. Additionally, the installation had to be safe, reliable, and provide opportunities for future expansion of the car park barrier system to additional areas within the business park.
Project Breakdown
- Installation of two UKT-220 automatic car park barriers paired with Hanwa ANPR cameras.
- Integration of safety features, including induction loops and photocell sensors.
- CloudPass ANPR barrier control system to manage users and permissions.
- Paxton intercoms and handsets for guest and delivery access.
- Central cabinet housing all control and network equipment.
Network connectivity provided over single-mode fibre.
Timeline
The project was carried out over three days: 17th–19th January 2026, with work scheduled to minimise disruption to tenants and site operations.

Results: Secure & Efficient Site Access
The completed ANPR car park barriers and integrated car park barrier system now provide Langstone Park with full control over vehicle entry. Tenants can quickly authorise users through the cloud-based ANPR barrier control system, while unauthorised vehicles are prevented from entering. The installation has reduced congestion, improved site security, and created a future-ready system that can expand to additional areas as needed.
