What Challenge Did Solihull Arden Club Face?
Before our involvement, Solihull Arden Club had no structured access control in place, which made managing foot traffic and member entry challenging. The club needed a solution that could improve security, prevent unauthorised access, and allow staff to manage entry efficiently during peak periods. The system also needed to integrate with the club’s existing membership and third-party access control platforms to avoid duplicate data entry and ensure a seamless check-in experience for members.

Our goal was to deliver a secure, high-performance speed gate system that would manage member and staff entry efficiently, without disrupting the club’s daily operations. The installation needed to be visually appealing, blending with the modern reception interior, while supporting DDA-compliant access. Additionally, the system had to be flexible and safe, offering emergency override options and staff control where needed, to provide a complete and future-proof entrance solution.
Project Breakdown
We installed a twin-lane UKT-29 speed gate turnstile system inside the main reception, with both lanes 900mm wide to ensure DDA compliance and accessibility for all users. The units were completed in our Black Edition finish, providing a sleek, modern appearance that complemented the club’s internal design.
To support security and safety, we integrated stainless steel posts with 10mm toughened clear infill panels to prevent unauthorised access, fire alarm integration for emergency override, and a bespoke manual override switch giving staff full control when required. The system was fully integrated with Solihull Arden Club’s existing access control and member management software, ensuring no disruption to check-ins and seamless handover.
The installation was carefully designed to provide clean lines and a consistent height across all components. This maintained visibility and guided foot traffic while creating a professional, cohesive look for the reception area. Both staff and visitors responded positively to the practicality and aesthetics of the new turnstile speed gate setup.
