Project: Turnstile and Gate Installation for Community Club Entry System

Steyning Town Community Football Club, West Sussex

As part of ongoing ground improvements at Steyning Town Community Football Club, UK Turnstiles supplied and installed a secure, easy-to-manage entry solution using our robust UKT-40 Single Full Height Turnstile and UKT-60 Full Height Pedestrian Gate.

Project Goals

The installation was designed to manage high footfall on match days and provide controlled, secure access for visitors and supporters. We worked closely with the club and trusted groundworks partners to ensure the entrance systems met both functional and aesthetic requirements.

To support smooth entry on busy match days, the setup included manual controllers, allowing site officials to safely and efficiently manage the flow of visitors and supporters.

Custom Finishing and Collaboration

We collaborated with our trusted partners who oversaw the groundwork and fencing which was essential for the overall modernisation of the site entrances. Regular updates and consistent communication between ourselves, our partner and the client allowed for the install to be completed in a time-efficient manner with no obstacles.

The full height pedestrian turnstile and gate were powder-coated in a custom red to reflect the club’s team colours, providing a professional finish that complements the environment.

Technical and Safety Specifications

The safety of visitors to the football club is paramount, and the full height pedestrian gate turnstile’s extra wide passage width allows for ease of use, while the ability to configure free rotation allows for continual use in the event of an emergency. This is also the case with the maglock system on the UKT-60 gate, which can be integrated with existing access control systems.

Given the high volume of visitors and supporters on match days, the durability and reliability of the turnstiles and gates was essential, the stainless-steel composition allows for heavy duty use while maintaining their structural integrity.

The project was completed on time and in budget, and the special red colour coating ensures an aesthetically pleasing finish for Steyning FC patrons.
